Hello, I’m Jen, the creator of Every Kind of Mind.

I’m a highly experienced SEND teacher with over 20 years of working across schools, Alternative Provision, and in 1:1 specialist roles. I’m also a former Early Years Ofsted Inspector, which has given me a deep understanding of child development and what truly supports children to thrive.

But just as importantly, I’m a mum to two neurodivergent children. That lived experience shapes everything I create, helping me understand both the joys and the challenges that families navigate every day.

I started Every Kind of Mind because I wanted to create the kind of resources I know families and educators really need, ones that help children feel seen, valued, and confident in who they are.

My goal is to support neurodivergent children in feeling understood, while also giving parents, carers, and educators practical, meaningful tools they can use in real life.
